Tucker

I believe Tucker was a brilliant man and a hero. He was determined and strong willed. He did everything in his power to make his invention come to life. Throught persistance and faith he keep his head afloat and gpot what he wanted. Not only his idea for the Tucker 48 amde him brilliant but his attitude and devotion made him brilliant. He is a hero because he may have made only a small impact on the car companies, but he made a huge impact on America and the way people thought at that time. He impressed everyone who thougth he stood no chance.

From what the movie showed, Tucker was a brilliant man, and an American hero. However, we don't know if that is the real story. It could all be made up to make Tucker look better in spite of the Big 3. He did lie to car dealers to get money when he didn't even have a built car that worked.

I believe that he was a hero. He built a great car and the Big Three knocked him down. His factory wasn't completely successful but he is still a hero. His story is one of the American Dream.

A Revolutionizing Hero

Postby Dustin Kelly » Sun Jan 27, 2002 10:46 pm

Tucker fought for his constitutional right to make, produce and sell cars. He showed how big business will fight out its competition in an unlawful way. He is a hero in that he stood up for his own personal and even other American's rights to free enterprise. Tucker will forever be a modern example of a business super god.

Tucker was a fool. he put his trust in the system. the system doesn't care about the little man. all they care about is making money and smashing the dreams of young dreamers. they tell people what people need feeding off human stupidity and need to be the same. they're facists nazis and they need to die. and tucker found that out just a little too late.

I am more brilliant

Postby Olson l » Sun Jan 27, 2002 10:53 pm

I believe that Tucker was headed in the right direction with cars but his ideas were not very cutting edge material. I have never seen a rotating headlight on cars today which means his idea didnt last very long. He was quite an entrepreneur however. I am more brilliant.

I think that Tucker was a hero. He used his knowledge of cars and how to build them better to everybodys well being. He showed that the common man could do something and make a life for himself while helping out others. I think he was a good man.

what a brilliant guy!

Postby Megan T » Sun Jan 27, 2002 10:57 pm

Tucker was a brilliant man because he came up with safety features and aspects of a car no one else had. The problem was that no one appreciated his ideas b/c he was ahead of his time. He was just trying to follow his dream.

I think tucker was a hero. he challenged the most powerful automakers at the time with a brilliant idea for a car with multiple safety features which weren't even thought of yet. He even pursued his goal even when his name looked bad, and most people thought he was a crook.
